After submission, the application moves through statuses.

Status

Meaning

Draft / Draft not submitted

The application has been started but not submitted.

Submitted to Undo Capital

Undo has received the application and is reviewing it.

Action needed

Undo needs more information before the application can continue.

Edits Requested

Changes or extra documents are needed.

Submitted to HMRC

Undo has submitted the application to HMRC.

HMRC enquiry

HMRC has asked for more detail.

Approved

HMRC has confirmed the company looks eligible based on the application.

Not approved

HMRC did not grant Advance Assurance for that application.

Undo’s product copy says the team checks applications within 2 working days before they go to HMRC. HMRC review is shown as usually taking 4 to 6 weeks, although responses may arrive sooner depending on workload.

If the status is Action needed or Edits Requested, open the request, add the missing information or documents, and submit the response.

If the application is approved, you can download the assurance letter and share it with investors.

If the product shows Start compliance filing, continue from there after shares have been issued and the compliance filing is ready to prepare. The EIS screenshots show a post-approval compliance flow with Start compliance filing, shares issued date, compliance statement status, and compliance deadline.
