A Data Room is a structured space where you can store and share company documents. You can create more than one Data Room if you need separate spaces for different purposes, for example one room for a funding round and another for a specific investor or document set.

Inside each Data Room, you can create folders and upload files into those folders. This means the structure works in two layers:

  1. Data Room — the main space.

  2. Folders — sections inside the Data Room.

  3. Files — documents stored inside folders.

If no room exists yet, Undo shows an empty state for setting up your first Data Room.

You can create a room by:

  1. Starting with the fundraising Data Room template.

  2. Starting with an empty room.

The fundraising template creates a starting folder structure. The product shows folders such as:

  • Corporate Documents

  • Financial Documents

  • Cap Table & Equity

  • Legal & Contracts

  • Pitch & Product

The product also shows Founder Essentials templates such as:

  • Financial Model

  • Investor Pitch Deck

  • Cap Table Template

  • Legal Due Diligence

You can customise and update the Data Room at any time.

Undo also includes Founder Essentials templates. These are standard startup document templates that are commonly used across fundraising, investor updates, and due diligence. They are there to give founders a practical starting point, especially when investors expect a document but it has not been prepared yet.

Founder Essentials include templates such as:

  • Financial Model

  • Investor Pitch Deck

  • Cap Table Template

  • Legal Due Diligence

Data Room supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, CSV, JPG, JPEG, PNG, and ZIP files up to 50 MB each.

If a file does not appear after upload, check that the upload finished, refresh the page, and confirm that you are looking inside the correct room and folder.
