Select Share & manage access inside the Data Room.
You can share by:
Creating a new link.
Inviting someone by email.
Managing access for existing viewers.
Undo lets you create secure links or invite people directly.
Each link or invitation can have its own permissions, so you only share what is relevant.
Before sharing, check:
which Data Room is being shared
which folders are visible
which files are visible
whether the room is public or restricted
whether the recipient email is correct
whether the recipient should have download access, if available
whether permissions are set for the full room or specific folders/files
The sharing flow includes options such as:
Create new link
Invite via email
Public links
Invited people
Remove access
Save permissions
If you share a folder with full access and later add more documents to that folder, those new documents may also become visible to people who already have access to the folder. Before adding files to a shared folder, check whether the folder is already shared and who can see it.
If you want to share only selected documents, avoid giving access to the full folder. Choose item-level permissions instead.
You can remove access at any time from Manage access. Once removed, that person will no longer be able to open the documents or folders shared through that invitation.
You can also revoke a public link. Once revoked, the link stops working for everyone who has it. If you need to share the Data Room again, you will have to create a new link.
